Brooke Rozell
Owner - Pet Sitter – Katy
Hello and Welcome!
I started Animal Admiration in early 2011 to help provide professional, convenient, worry-free pet care in the Katy, West Houston, Cypress areas. Before going solo, I had joined forces with another pet sitter where I started my career of professional pet sitting back in 2003.
I was born and raised in Katy, Texas where my parents owned a horse stable and training facility. From the time I was little I was always getting new pets. My parents seemed to spoil me with everything I wanted (yes, I’m an only child) from dogs, cats, rabbits, mini horses, show horses, and everything in between. As I got into my teens, I also picked up a love of some reptiles. This is due largely to the fact my uncle is a veterinarian here in the Houston, Texas area. I grew up between my parent’s barn and my uncle’s vet clinic, Briarcrest Vet.
I currently share my home have 2 senior dogs, 2 indoor cats, 3 outside “feral” cats (who have claimed me as their mom), 2 bunnies, 1 red foot tortoise and 1 beta fish! Oh, and humans! I graciously share my home with my other half, Todd, and my 2 amazing stepdaughters. My dogs are rescue dogs, in fact, Dixie was found at one of my pet sits. I do have a passion for birds. I have had several lovebirds and cockatoos over the years. Currently, my home is without an avian tenant, but I have many bird feeders in my backyard where I attract, feed, and enjoy watching many wild birds as well as hummingbirds. I enjoy being out in nature and connecting with God’s creatures.
In my free time I do enjoy exploring small near-by towns, participating in church events, spending time with family, or organizing my spaces. Our family are long members of Houston First Baptist, where we can be found most Sunday mornings. I also enjoy crafting, reading, gardening, and going for walks.
Fun fact: My Friends know me as the one who folds her grocery sacks into mini footballs.
Animals have been and will always be a huge part of my life. They provide us so much enjoyment, entertainment, and teach us so much in life. I wish we all could love like our pets – unconditionally and without judgement. My services are here to help provide you a worry-free experience. Whether you’re traveling or stuck at work I’m here to provide companionship, love, and care for your pets. I am passionate about getting to know the pets in my care; their personalities, likes, and dislikes. Your pets can stay in their own environment, and I will be there to care for them just as I do my own.

Donna Paulet
Pet Sitter – Champions – Spring – Woodlands
Hi, I’m Donna (to some “Auntie Donna”), a retired school teacher and pet sitter in Spring, The Woodlands, Shenandoah, and Champions areas. I have spent the last 14 years in the public school system teaching elementary-age children. My nature is to be a care giver, and I have a true love and passion for the kids. After getting married a few years ago, I retired to stay at home with my furry children.
My purest passion in life, which started at a very young age, has been for animals. My furry family of six canines include; Bella, Bailey, Berry, Everest, Solomon and Shelly. We have a three-acre property off Gosling Rd. that gives them plenty of room to run and chase balls. Animals have been and will always be a huge part of my life. They give me so much enjoyment, entertainment, and teach me so much about living in the moments of life.
My volunteer work has been with Tomball Abandoned Animal Rescue and Houston SPCA. I have recently joined NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) and PSI (Pet Sitters International). My objective is to be the voice of animals. I want to keep them happy, healthy and safe. Animals don’t belong in cages and left alone for hours on end. I want to love them, play with them and keep them active. I also attend many pet-related community events – please stop and say “Hi” if you see me around (If you’re not sure of upcoming events checkout our events page).
I look forward to helping with all your pet sitting & dog walking needs!
Sandy
Pet Sitter - Memorial - Energy Corridor- West Houston
Hi, I’m Sandy. I have just recently retired from my job at a physician’s office after 26 years. It was the best decision I ever made! I have loved and been around pets all my life. That love encouraged me to find a job working with animals and that’s how I joined the Animal Admiration team! At an early age, I was the one who brought home all the stray animals. I have been volunteering for an animal rescue group (Animal Justice League) since 2016. I find it very rewarding. I foster dogs and kittens and help with adoption events. Through my work with the rescue I have learned a lot about introducing a pet into a new home, warning signs when an animal is stressed or uncomfortable around you and trying to fit the right animal with the right family. Because of this, I am able to care for animals that are more particular about who they want taking care of them. I have three rescue dogs of my own (Skye, Spike, & Bolt) and one rescue cat (Storm). My husband and I have lived in West Houston for over 20 years. We are huge Astros and Rockets fans. Working with animals is my passion and is what makes me happy, so I look forward to helping with your furry family!
